Instructional Materials Collection

The Collection includes videos, DVDs and kits that are loaned to member schools. Items are delivered to schools through the REMC courier (link to the Courier information under About).

Use Web/MAX, the online catalog, to search for, book, or extend items.

An after-hours video return is outside the REMC Offices in the Capital Area Career Center in Mason. Videos can be returned 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. Just take the circular drive in front of the Career Center, park in one of the parking places on the side of the building, and enter the side door by the REMC offices. The drop-box is just inside the double doors.

Annenberg Media provides Professional Development programming for K-12 teachers through satellite and video on demand. Titles are available through taping. To request a program to be taped, contact Sherrie Hagedorn at 517.244.1475.

Building-Based Collections are placed at individual school buildings on long-term loan from REMC. Teacher guides usually accompany the series. Series are available for elementary, middle, and secondary levels. Contact Grethel Bradley (517.244.1474) to request a series for your building. Many of these videos are also available on Discovery.
