In-District Workshops and Mini-Sessions
|
REMC 13 trainers will tailor workshops to your technology needs. The workshops can be held before, during, or after school. We ask that you have a minimum of three attendees.
Suggested topics are:

- CPS (Classroom Performance Systems) Training
- Discovery/unitedstreaming™
- Inspiration/Kidspiration
- Internet Sites for students and staff
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Front Page, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word)
- Photoshop Elements
- Research Internet Databases
- Web 2.0

Open to all employees of Public and Non-Public School Districts and Intermediate School Districts in Clinton, Eaton, Ingham, Livingston and Shiawassee Counties. Online .pdf of RTA 2009 catalog.
Enrollment: Sessions vary in size from 5 to 26. If the session you register for is full, you will be contacted and informed of options (registration in an alternate session or placement on a waiting list). If you are unable to attend, please be considerate and cancel prior to the session.
Fees: There is a $20 fee for a half day class and a $40 fee for a full day to participate in these sessions. Payments must be recived by July 10, 2009 to receive a refund. Late registrations, payments or cancellations after this date will not qualify for a refund.

Sessions: Most sessions are a half-day or full-day long. Sessions are 8:00-11:30 a.m. and 12:30-4:00 p.m. with a light snack provided. Lunch is on your own.
Cancellations: Due to cost considerations and the popularity of some of our sessions, we request that you notify us early if you are unable to attend a session for which you have registered. Cancellations must be received by July 10, 2009 to receive a refund. Cancellations will be accepted by mail, phone, or fax. Thanks for your understanding!
SB-CEUs: Information and forms will be available from the county contacts and at this website when approved. It is anticipated that .3 SB-CEUs will be granted for a half-day session, .6 for a full-day session.
Locations: Sessions are offered at locations throughout the tri-county area. The location is noted in the session description. Addresses and directions to each location can be found at Maps.
